1. Non-Custodial and Direct Payment Principle

Rydex does not act as a payment processor for the core travel cost. The entire Total Trip Amount (TTA) is handled directly (P2P) between the Rider and the Driver. We provide the technology to determine the TTA, not to process it.

2. Composition of the Total Trip Amount (TTA)

The TTA is a comprehensive calculation that ensures compliance with cost-sharing regulations, incorporating:

• Driver Cost Recovery: The calculated variable expense (fuel, depreciation, maintenance) share.
• Rydex Service Fee: The fee for platform access, matching, and support services.

3. Rider Payment Protocol

Riders must execute the P2P payment of the TTA to the Driver immediately upon safe arrival. Preferred methods are e-transfer or cash, as agreed in the booking details. Digital verification of payment is required for trip closure.

4. Driver's B2B Service Fee Obligation

The Service Fee, ranging dynamically from 8% to 17.5% of the TTA, is remitted by the Driver to Rydex as a B2B transaction. This fee is due within 48 hours of the Rider's payment. This is the only financial flow involving Rydex.

5. Consequences of Non-Remittance

Failure to remit the B2B Service Fee within the 48-hour window constitutes a material breach of the MSA, leading to immediate account suspension and potential legal action to recover outstanding technological service fees.

1. TTA Refund Responsibility

Since the TTA is paid P2P, Rydex is not authorized to refund the TTA. All disputes regarding TTA refunds must be resolved directly between the Rider and the Driver. Rydex will only mediate disputes involving the Service Fee.

2. Rider Cancellation Protocols

• Pre-Match: No fee.
• Post-Match (Driver En Route): A small, non-refundable P2P Cancellation Fee (e.g., $5-$10) is due directly to the Driver to cover their initial mobilization costs.

3. Driver Cancellation and Non-Performance

If a Driver cancels a confirmed trip, they are subject to a negative Trust Score adjustment. If non-performance occurs during the trip due to mechanical failure or misconduct, the Driver is fully liable for the Rider's alternative travel costs up to the value of the TTA, in addition to the negative Trust Score impact.

4. Service Fee Refund Exceptions (Rydex Fee Only)

Rydex will only consider refunding the Service Fee portion under verified circumstances of platform technology failure or verifiable security/verification errors that compromised the service delivery. Claims must be submitted within 4 hours of the trip time.

1. Data Collection Philosophy (Verification Focus)

We only collect data necessary to fulfill our compliance and verification mandate. This includes mandatory identity and background check data for all users, alongside transactional metadata (time, route, calculated TTA).

2. Sensitive Data Handling for Drivers

Driver documents (license, registration, insurance) are collected and encrypted securely for the sole purpose of verifying compliance and safety. This data is processed via third-party verification partners and is never shared or used for marketing purposes.

3. Data Exclusion Mandate (Financial)

Due to our non-custodial model, Rydex does not collect, store, or process any private P2P financial data (bank accounts, credit card numbers, personal e-transfer details). This data separation is a core security feature of our platform.

4. Data Sharing and User Rights

Limited data is shared between matched users (names, photos, vehicle details). We comply fully with all applicable privacy legislation, providing users the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data, subject to regulatory retention requirements.
